Hi, my name is Nick Coley, by trade and training, a sport and exercise psychologist and mental performance coach, dedicated to supporting you to be the best version of yourself. Registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC).
With more than five years of experience applying the latest research in a number of performance contexts. Through combining proven sport psychology techniques, mental training and physical sports coaching practices to help amateur and professional athletes achieve higher levels of performance.
By taking time to understand you, your performance, your context and your environment, I will help you to build frameworks, strategies and skills that will allow you to perform at your highest level.
I see health and wellbeing as critical to performance in all sports, so I work to develop an approach to performance which works with wellbeing, rather than against it.
I specialise in sport psychology and sport performance coaching for endurance sports such as mountain biking, road cycling, track cycling, cross country cycling, running, swimming as well as other individual and team sports.

I am a HCPC registered sport and exercise psychologist. Working across multiple performance contexts, where my passion lies in understanding the mental aspect of performance and how people can achieve their best.
Specialising in endurance sports, applying performance psychology concepts to help individuals go beyond what they thought was possible. Ive also worked across a range of team sports, physical activity, performing arts and business environments.
Based in Brighton UK, my purpose is to understand your performance context and support you to become the best version of yourself. I do this by raising self-awareness and developing mental strategies to enable you to thrive and become more focused on what matters to you.

Specialise in working with endurance athletes developing the mental aspects of performance. I also work with athletes and teams across a range of sports from grassroots and youth to world-class professionals. I focus on how we can incorporate values and purpose into performance and work to help you understand the strategies that can develop the mental side of your game.

Support individuals, teams and organisations to develop tactics that help them become more active. Understanding what's important to you and how that can act as a driver for behaviour change which becomes part of your life. Physical activity brings a wealth of benefits and no matter where you are currently, I can support you to move more.
Business Coaching
Working with individuals at all levels in complicated organisations, I apply psychological strategies to help improve performance in a range of roles. Whether on team meetings, in creative session or delivering that presentation on the latest results, work is a performance, and I can support you to deliver. Raising self-awareness and understanding how your role supports your organisation, lets help you find meaning and purpose in your work.
